I'd do a little dance in the metal detector if I didn't think it'd get me a free ride in a police car.

The main reason was that they had become a pain to maintain: getting irritated on long runs, then becoming even more unhappy after swimming at places like Barton Springs. Always having then clack against my phone when talking. And really, I think I just needed the change. They certainly have a different symbology than when I was 13. :)
